This is a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected practitioners in the field while advising high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate and wealth planning strategies.Candidate Profile
  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
  • 4+ years of substantive experience in trusts and estates law.
  • Higher levels of experience are also valued and will be considered.
  • Significant experience drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trust agreements, and related instruments.
  • Experience advising clients on complex wealth transfer tax strategies, trust structures, and business succession planning.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.
  • Ability to counsel fiduciaries in estate and trust administration and support litigation matters related to wills, trusts, and fiduciary issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build client relationships.
  • Ability to take initiative while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with the ability to produce concise, high-quality work product.
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft a broad range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments.
  • Advise individuals and families on trust structures, tax strategies, and wealth preservation planning.
  • Design and implement business succession strategies for closely held businesses.
  • Counsel fiduciaries on estate and trust administration matters.
  • Prepare and review federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.
  • Support the firm’s litigation team on fiduciary and estate-related disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex estate, trust, and tax matters.
  • Maintain direct and frequent contact with clients to provide strategic guidance.
