Job Store Staffing is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for a client in the Centennial area. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you are a leader with great analytical and problem-solving skills. You can lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance as needed, maintaining high quality and accuracy in all areas. You have strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices, can ensure accuracy and efficiency in manual packaging and labeling activities, can implement inventory control procedures and policies, as well as provide feedback to assist in optimizing ordering and replenishment of inventory. The Inventory Control Supervisor position is a Temporary to Hire opportunity for the right candidate.Why you will love this job:

Pay/Hours:
  • M-Th 7:30 am-5:00 pm; F 8:00 am-12:00 noon
  • $26-28/hr
Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Supervisor:
  • Supervise and train production staff, delegate tasks, and ensure a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Manage staffing and provide strong people leadership with a focus on creating/maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication, performance management, accountability, etc. This includes time and attendance reviews for all department employees.
  • Oversee production staff to ensure quality, efficiency, and traceability requirements are met in packaging and labeling of raw products.
  • Utilize inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analyze inventory data, making recommendations for restocking or reducing inventory based on demand and trends, aimed at preventing inventory issues.
  • Working closely with other departments, such as QM, purchasing, and sales to ensure smooth and efficient inventory management to quickly resolve any variance, errors or discrepancies with product or documents.
  • Update and maintain reference documentation used by production team when changes are initiated by other departments.
  • Audit compliance and project management experience a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 6 to 8 packaging employees.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance and coaching, as needed to achieve a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular 1:1’s to address performance, provide feedback and develop a functional team.
  • Identify training and development needs within the team and facilitate as able.
