Full-timeJOB DESCRIPTIONCritical Solutions is seeking an experienced Systems Security Administrator to support our federal customer in Arlington, VA.PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform domain migrations, both internal and external to the customer environment, to include Active Directory, file services, print services, DHCP, and other commodity IT services.
- Resolve a wide range of system issues including troubleshooting software and hardware, diagnosis of network issues, and addressing trouble tickets and service tasks across all tiered levels.
- Assist with achieving optimum performance and availability standards through implementing appropriate technical solutions.
- Complete the day-to-day tasks associated with system administration in the DES Compute Environment.
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide on call 24/7 support to the current operations team when troubleshooting/resolving incidents with enterprise systems.
- Provide escalation support to the NOC/monitoring team when troubleshooting issues with enterprise systems.
- Manage IT system infrastructure and continuously update associated process and/or procedural documentation.
- Work within the DevSecOps methodology to plan and support implementation of new technologies.
- Prepare recommendations for resolutions to NetOps challenges based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and/or forensics.
- Work with other service teams to resolve enterprise incidents as part of the DES Operations Problem Solving Team.
- Work with the monitoring team to address issues that will impact system availability.
- Update systems by implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Must possess an active Top-Secret Clearance w/ SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 10 years of relevant experience
- UNIX, Windows, and/or Storage administration experience.
- Experience with trouble reporting and tracking systems such as BMC REMEDY and ServiceNow.
- Ability to lift/move/carry equipment when necessary (max forty pounds).
- Experience in managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows Servers.
- Strong experience managing Windows Active Directory, virtual servers, VMware, and Azure including support of AD migration of accounts and objects.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions.
- Familiarity with the DOD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.
- Familiarity with MECM, AZURE, Ansible, Antivirus and security deployment tools.
- Experience with on-call rotation schedule for incident respond and escalations.
- DOD 8570 IAT II Certification (Sec+ CE or equivalent).
- Expertise in troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11 and Server 2019), Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, network issues, print logic, IIS, VMware, and Azure.
- Strong scripting and PowerShell skills.
- Experience building, configuring, and hardening Windows servers.
- Strong VMware experience.
- Experience using ServiceNow (or similar tool) to document incidents and service requests.
- Advanced experience with Active Directory management and administration.
