The Construction Services Technician is responsible for promoting a high level of customer satisfaction through assistance in planning and installation of electric and gas utilities. Working in a team environment you will be responsible for assisting in the design and coordination with the Customer Project Coordinator for the selection of proper materials for new construction, maintenance and replacement of damaged Company facilities. This role works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on construction related issues. Interacts and is a member of a self-directed, collaborative, and interdependent team.RequirementsConstruction Services Technician I:High School, GED or Equivalent. AA Degree preferred. * Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a natural gas or electric distribution related field.
- Requires demonstrated ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects and to work effectively with all parties involved.
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to learn computer applications.
- Specialized job-related training in gas and electric design, map reading and familiarity with applicable codes, tariffs and requirements preferred.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures is preferred.
- Prior applied experience with CC&B, Maximo, and GIS preferred.
