Electrical Design Engineer

- 4+ Years schematic layouts and PCBA designs
- Automotive industry experience highly desirable
- Familiarity with CAN software or other communication protocols
- CAD software (Altium Designer, Eagle)
- Knowledge of Sensors | Magnetic Sensors/all effect sensors a plus
- Strong background in electrical engineering principles, with expertise in design and problem-solving creating schematics and printed circuit board layouts
- Perform validation tests and measurements on designs to ensure specifications
- Experience with diagnosing failures and customer returns to determine root cause
- Use of hand tools, soldering skills, and electrical measurement tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes
- ISO9000 principles and industry EMC/EMI/ESD standards.
- Design and develop schematics layouts and PCBA designs and adherence to industry standards and product specifications.
- Utilize expertise in sensors to optimize performance and reliability.
- Lead electrical engineering project management
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating project tasks
- Document and report PCB/PCA designs, specifications, findings, relevant data, and associated test results
- Apply knowledge of APQP processes to ensure the quality and reliability of products throughout the development life cycle.
- Integrate electrical components into overall product designs
- Facilitate system integration and interoperability with communication protocols like CAN
