Most of our resources are deployed to the hospital's six intensive care units, where our respiratory care practitioners (RCPs) are integral critical care team members. Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our Team. The George Washington University Hospital Respiratory Care Department provides cutting-edge clinical care to various critically ill patients. QualificationsQualifications
Graduation from an approved two-year respiratory therapist program
3 Years of Professional Experience that demonstrates Progressive Leadership background
Licensed by the District of Columbia Health Regulation
Licensed as an RRT and approved by NBRC
BLS Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals required
ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
Stable and NRP required for NICU Therapist
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
