Job Description:MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
  • Experience with the RF Design tool - Atoll
  • Understanding of the RF Engineering design process
  • Applied detailed knowledge of RFDS, CQ, and RF Plumbing diagrams
  • Applied knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
  • Very detailed-oriented and ability to track and manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Excel skills
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Verizon tool experience with Fuze, Fuze Planning is a plus
  • Previous experience with RFDS creation for 5G
JOB DUTIES:
Responsibilities include:
  • Creating and supplying cell site translations including CQ and E911 translations
  • Designing 4G and 5G sites in Atoll to meet targeted needs for capacity or coverage
  • Creating RFDS and CQ for projects
  • Updating and maintaining the design tool Atoll
  • Ability to make engineering tradeoffs for RF design
  • Updating and utilizing Atoll for RF EME and E911 issues
BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry. General understanding and or working knowledge in one or more of the following telecommunications platforms and technologies: Samsung, Nokia, Ericsson, and LTE and 5G technologies. Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field. Proficient in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. 5 to 7 years of experience.LOGISTICS:
