Come join our dynamic team!What You Will Learn:Provide and assist production management in the scheduling of the mechanical workforce, ensuring processing, utilities and facilities operations attain maximum uptime with the highest level of production quality. This is achieved by driving maintenance excellence within the organization You will be empowered with decision making, parts ordering, budget management and project management. You will drive the maintenance excellence pillars in your cell: preventive maintenance, critical spare parts management, trainings and skill set, and you will drive the development plan of your team to achieve the Safety, Quality and Performance targets. You will Oversee maintenance activities on processing vessels, utilities system and driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs aligned with maintenance excellence pillars. You will ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations that support production needs and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Oversee maintenance of plant processing systems, utilities and critical infrastructure.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
  • Lead Mechanics and facilitate communication between all three shifts of operations.
  • Lead troubleshooting of utility equipment and coordinate repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Train, coach, and develop the technical base of mechanic staff.
  • Drive maintenance excellence culture.
  • Utilize CMMS (Maintenance Connection) for scheduling, work orders, and performance metrics and master the usage of required software such as Maintenance Connection.
  • Manage work order generation, assignment, scheduling and follow up.
  • Generate and manage reports showing key maintenance indicators.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for processing operations.
  • Support installation and qualification of new processing equipment and modifications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain all necessary record tracking systems
  • Maintain an effective labor/employee relationship working in a union environment.
  • Support and lead the L'Oreal safety, health, and environmental programs of L'Oreal USA.
  • Manage, implement, and support all L'Oreal policies
  • Perform other duties as necessary or required.
What We Are Looking For:Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma with post-secondary technical training, certifications, and equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in processing or utilities maintenance, preferably in consumer products with supervisory exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler, HVAC, compressed air, and water treatment systems.
  • Solid technical understanding in core mechanical, electrical, and electronic field
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Must demonstrate excellent people management skills, including the ability to develop a team of individuals capable of producing extraordinary results
  • Must demonstrate the L'Oreal competencies including, but not limited to, creative problem solving, decision making, achievement orientation, cultivation of talent and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with energy management and compliance audits is beneficial
  • Requires a practical working knowledge of machine shop procedures, PLC programming, machine building, electromechanical systems, machine analysis and troubleshooting
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • New Jersey Black Seal Boiler License (low-pressure).
