You will be working in our Pediatric setting at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot Idaho. As a member of our team this role requires a proactive individual who embodies our core values and is committed to excellence in every task.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to set achievable goals and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to improve patients' communication, speech and social language skills.Monitor and document patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, treatments, and outcomesProvide guidance and support to patients' family members, caregivers, and other support groups in maximizing patients' abilities.Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in occupational therapy and incorporate them into the treatment plans.Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment.Skills and Competencies:Passionate about implementation of activities of daily livingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Ability to prioritize workload, complete required documentation, manage time efficiently, and work independently.Physical stamina and dexterity to work with patients of varying physical abilities.Familiarity with electronic medical records and digital therapeutic tools is a plus.Collaboration and open communication are highly valuedQualifications:Licensed in the state of Idaho or ability to obtain immediate licensureProven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a healthcare or Pediatric setting.Work Environment:Pediatric SettingMonday-Friday;Full Time, Salaried positionCompetitive benefits: Medical, Dental, 401K, Vacation, PTOCareer Development:Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.Potential for career progression into management or administrative roles within the company.If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, we’d love to get to know you.
