CUSA Melville HeadquartersAbout the RoleCanon U.S.A., Inc. in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Budget Advisor (Advisor, Budget). Lead financial contact for CSG. Responsible for managing the Business Unit budget submission and Financial reporting.This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Your Impact
- Acts as liaison between the business unit and accounting team and other departments to ensure financials are accurate
- Responsible for creating the business unit budget
- Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results for the business unit
- Develops ad hoc reports, account analysis and presentation data
- Responds to/resolves various inquiries as received by providing appropriate backup/documentation/support
- Develops, improves and implements any changes to existing processes/procedures to add value and credibility of the data/processes
- Remains agile through business changes, looking for efficiencies at all times
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience
- CPA and/or MBA a plus
- 2 years budget experience a plus
- Knowledge of Business Services industry a plus
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Hyperion Planning a plus
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong team player who works well in a cross-functional team
