- Developing and/or improving test methods
- Preparing and executing test method validations in collaboration with design assurance
- Design & execution of structured experimental plans to drive data-based decisions.
- Understanding clinical use cases and user interface requirements to drive design decisions.
- Working cooperatively with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing on complex projects to ensure project success.
- Training and/or provide work directions to technicians
- Documenting development by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests.
- Contributing to solving engineering problems by analyzing the situation and recommending solutions or alternative actions.
- Analyzing, evaluating, and verifying requirements, component performance, and systems by using engineering practices.
- In all actions, demonstrating a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to all documented quality processes and procedures.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must graduate Spring 2026
- Must work onsite at our Maple Grove, MN Boston Scientific corporate location
- Must be a former R&D Boston Scientific intern
- Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- SolidWorks experience
- Strong mechanical engineering and problem-solving skills
- Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on technical inputs from multiple and varied sources.
- Candidates should be self-starters and have a hands-on approach
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
