- 3D and 2D design of MEP systems on projects best suited for the growth and culture of Haller Enterprises.
- Prepare the most cost-effective conceptual and construction designs on design/build and plan/spec projects that will meet the expectations of the client.
- Schematic design concepts for execution by self, or to forward to CAD operators to draft or estimators to cost.
- Team leadership to support BIM CAD operator drafting execution and facilitate design issuances to support external authority approvals within timeframe constraints.
- Prepare written design and BIM coordination proposals, and effectively communicate the proposal and scope of work to the customer.
- Negotiation and continuous follow up with clients on design proposals submitted.
- Adherence to project specifications, organization of project requirements and requests, watching out for best interest of clients.
- Meet with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders as required for execution of project.
- Interact with counterparts to achieve individual division goals, as well as the overall success and profitability of the company.
- Work with BIM/CAD staff, BIM Manger, and MEP estimators to share resources (site visits, GC relationships, bid calendar updates, design & coordination calendar)

- 5-10 years of MEP design experience on large commercial, industrial, or multi-unit projects.
- Attend site, design development, and BIM coordination meetings when necessary with customers, GC's, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.
- Experience in understanding project blueprints, design drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time/cost/equipment/labor/material estimates for projects and services.
- Knowledge in building energy analysis, design load calculations & schedules, and support thereof on building documents.
- Knowledge regarding current industry trends and ability to assess and understand existing installations.
- Valid Driver's License required to operate company or personal vehicle for company business.
- Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud. Proficiency in model-based parametric 3D design.
- Knowledge of general construction practices.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code, NFPA 70E, International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, International Building Code, Uniform Construction Code, and other codes relevant to MEP design.
