Customer Quality EngineerThis exciting role will be responsible for leading customer-focused quality efforts to ensure satisfaction by managing root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. This role serves as the main point of contact for customer quality issues and oversees quality processes such as Return Material Authorizations (RMA) and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA), ensuring alignment across departments like engineering, sales, and production. They are headquartered in the Burlington, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV Modules for the renewable energy industry.   • Lead site-level customer quality investigations and communication.
  • Supervise a team focused on finished product quality and customer standards.
  • Analyze quality data, warranty claims, and trends to drive improvement.
  • Ensure consistent execution of RMA and RCCA processes.
  • Present quality metrics and customer-facing reports.
  • Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving and implement corrective actions.
  • Support and enhance QMS processes tied to outgoing product quality.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or equivalent experience.
  • Quality Engineer Certification, Green Belt (or higher) Certification.
  • Must be or have been a Certified Lead Auditor (cert doesn’t need to be active).
  • 2+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance, CX, CEX, Customer Quality or Customer Experience roles.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • Come from a heavy automation fast-paced manufacturing environment (i.e., Semiconductor or Advanced Electronics Manufacturing). Experience in the solar manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Relevant skills and software to be familiar with include the MS Office Platform (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone), SPC (Minitab, Excel), and QMS knowledge (ISO 9001).
  • Strong public relations and customer-facing experience, particularly in managing quality concerns and building client relationships.
  • Travel could be up to but not limited to 30% depending on customer needs.
Salary Range:
  • 85K-105K per year depending on experience.
