- Assist in preparation of financial studies and surveys to collect, summarize and analyze the financial results of operational activities.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Monitor financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends and making recommendations.
- Develop, implement and maintain reports to support the organization accounting function as required.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Assist on special projects as assigned by division management or general accounting.
- Analyze and support consolidation process for YLA subsidiaries.
- Collaborate in monthly analysis of results.
- Review monthly financial reports prepared by accounting department and identify reasons for variances.
- Support groups/divisions in improving quality of financial data.
- Collect, consolidate and organize documents and data required for financial reports.
- Prepare monthly financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.
- Trend analysis of corporate overhead expenses and investigate fluctuations.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, compliance or other related field.
- Strong Excel skills are required. Working knowledge of operational ERP systems required.
- Strong Power Point or related presentation software is required.
- Experience in financial analysis and accounting for logistics operations preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 financial application & Workday Adaptive reporting module is highly desirable.
- Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work overtime as required/assigned.
- Travel as required.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Interact with co-workers and internal customers in an appropriate manner.
- Use a computer for tasks such as communicating via email and preparing reports and work schedule using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) software.
- Review and analyze data and information concerning the operating results.
- Plan, prioritize and monitor key performance indicators/activities.
- Complete or oversee the completion of assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
