  • Strive to achieve a care delivery system that fosters excellence in nursing practice, care, teamwork, positive customer/client relations, safe and high-quality driven practices.
  • Oversee day to day patient care
  • Provide guidance and direction to the Nursing Staff in the delivery of professional nursing care
  • Involvement in interview/hiring of new Nurses
  • Work with residential program director/medical director with any concerns
  • Work with Scheduler to cover shifts
  • Deliver hands on care/medication administration
  • Maintain documentation for Incident Reports regarding nursing, Equipment Control Logs
  • Manage training of new employees
  • Communicate issues with AVP of Nursing
  • Act as a liaison between patient family and healthcare staff
  • Manage patient treatment plans
  • Participate in performance improvement / quality improvement initiatives
  • Actively involved in Nursing ON CALL Rotation
Qualifications::
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse license
