Gift Processing Coordinator, Foundation

- Responsible for maintaining an accurate tracking system for all gifts and pledges. Requires collaboration with the Information Services team and other Foundation staff.
- Performs daily data entry of gift and biographical information into the donor database.
- Compiles and verifies the accuracy of data in preparation for entry. Manages preparation of checks, cash, pledge commitments, payroll and other data into batches for quick and accurate entry into the database. Responsible for scanning of checks to the various bank accounts for deposit.
- Handles and protects secure information.
- Processes and commits daily batch reports and prepares cash receipt and distribution reports.
- Runs monthly invoice reports to send to the Leadership team for preparation of monthly invoices, and runs and processes all pledge invoices letters to send out.
- Manages preparation and fulfillment of donor acknowledgements within 48 hours of receipt. Acknowledges all honor/memorial gifts within 48 hours. Coordinates other mailings as needed.
- Maintains up-to-date donor files and chronological correspondence files.
- Conducts daily research and updates, such as obituaries.
- Manages data downloads from LO system for online event registration and online giving.
- Generates analytical donor reports, queries and donor lists as necessary.
- Coordinates and executes special data entry projects as needed.
- Provides assistance as needed for Foundation projects: mailings, events, meetings, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
- Minimum of four (4) years of data entry experience.
- Computer proficiency, including database software (Blackbaud Raiser's Edge), spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and perform multiple duties with minimal supervision, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to operate in an environment with high volumes, multiple priorities and ongoing deadlines.
- Must be able to prepare correspondence, letters, reports, and assume responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all materials.
- Ability to learn new applications and tools.
- Must be able to work within time constraints and put in additional hours at peak times.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Four or more years of experience using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.
- Experience working in a healthcare fundraising setting.
