ResponsibilitiesLocation of Internship: Tulsa, OKResponsibilities:Flight begins with you at Spirit AeroSystems, a place where you can explore your interests and grow your career by working on impactful projects. As an NC Programming intern you can expect to:
- Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise to cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
- Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data and documentation that directs the operations for numerically controlled machines and robots required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies.
- 3, 4, & 5-axis CNC programming
- Robotic programming
- Verification software (Vericut)
- 3D printing applications
- QANC (Quality inspection including Spatial Analyzer and PolyWorks) Leica and FARO laser scanning & probing
- Optimization and cost avoidance projects

- You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
- You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.
- You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
