- Pre-Sales technical trusted advisor on architectures, systems and products
- Moderate complex opportunities
- Shorter term opportunities
- Understand customer needs and build full technical value proposition, including customer needs and requirements
- Prioritize projects, act as pass-thru to Solution Architect or Virtual Architect
- Leading customer focused in-depth technical knowledge of cross-Business Unit offer
- Partner with sales team on technical elements of RFI/RFP to build service proposals
- Drives continuous improvement thru collaboration with services excellence
- Provides feedback on offer management and evolution of offers
- Attend sales engagements as necessary
- Validates technical integrity of quotation
- Lead alignment of customized solution against field leaders (PSM, FSM)
- Advise with strategic/named accounts to develop customer strategy
- Educate customer on technical aspects of offer
- Perform customer site walks
- Interface with customer technical teams
- Pulled in by System Architect for more complex offers
- Act as coach to internal fighting team
- Responsible for the creation of reference architectures and Segment Solution requirements.

- BSEE/BSME and 3 years industry experience or 3-5 years relevant field experience
- Knowledge of Energy Management/Electrical Distribution Industry
- Relevant knowledge of Industry Standards (UL, ANSI, NFPA, NEC)
- Use Digital tools to drive efficiency (bFO, SAP, SE Advantage, Auto CAD, Visio)
