  • Must be 16+ years of age
Kitchen Member Responsibilities:Customer:
  • Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
  • Provide the highest quality of interactions with customers - be pleasant, friendly, and polite to everyone
  • Prepare food items per established recipes and menus in a way that preserves food freshness, quality, and appeal
  • Display an appreciation of our customers by thanking them in a meaningful and thoughtful manner
  • Respond quickly and respectfully to a customer's complaint and notify the person in charge
  • Make appropriate suggestions to customer's orders to increase satisfaction
Individual:
  • Taking orders from the carry-out counter promptly
  • Answering telephones promptly and courteously
  • Store food items per established standards of practice; utilize proper labeling and dating system
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment; clean up spills quickly, and wear protective gear as needed
  • Communicate needs and concerns regarding food production and kitchen operation to supervisor appropriately, and in a timely manner
  • Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning; report any discrepancies to supervisor immediately
  • Utilize safe food handling techniques
  • Knowledge of menu items and pricing structure
Other:
  • Support other staff in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
  • Maintain inventory of all food items
  • Obtain functional knowledge of oven and cutting counter procedures
  • Prepare menu items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value
  • Complete all assigned cleaning and prep-work
  • Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
