- Provide the highest quality of interactions with customers - be pleasant, friendly, and polite to everyone
- Prepare food items per established recipes and menus in a way that preserves food freshness, quality, and appeal
- Display an appreciation of our customers by thanking them in a meaningful and thoughtful manner
- Respond quickly and respectfully to a customer's complaint and notify the person in charge
- Make appropriate suggestions to customer's orders to increase satisfaction
- Taking orders from the carry-out counter promptly
- Answering telephones promptly and courteously
- Store food items per established standards of practice; utilize proper labeling and dating system
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment; clean up spills quickly, and wear protective gear as needed
- Communicate needs and concerns regarding food production and kitchen operation to supervisor appropriately, and in a timely manner
- Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning; report any discrepancies to supervisor immediately
- Utilize safe food handling techniques
- Knowledge of menu items and pricing structure
- Support other staff in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
- Maintain inventory of all food items
- Obtain functional knowledge of oven and cutting counter procedures
- Prepare menu items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value
- Complete all assigned cleaning and prep-work
- Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
