- Perform daily scouting for pests, pathogens, and plant stress indicators across all cultivation zones.
- Apply approved insecticides, fungicides, and cleaning/sanitation agents using handheld, backpack, and/or motorized sprayers.
- Follow pre-established IPM protocols and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Keep accurate spray logs, chemical inventories, and sanitation records in compliance with state regulations.
- Mix and dilute chemical solutions safely per manufacturer and SDS instructions.
- Ensure all applications are conducted in accordance with PPE, REI (Restricted Entry Interval), and ventilation requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all IPM tools, tanks, and sprayers.
- Communicate pest pressures, application efficacy, and concerns to cultivation management.
- Assist with non-spray-related tasks as needed (e.g., trap placement, environmental monitoring, equipment cleaning).
- Stay current with best practices in biological control, chemical resistance management, and state compliance updates.
- Assist with day-to-day greenhouse tasks, as needed, including plant movements, treatments, maintenance, etc.
- Ability to safely handle and apply chemical pesticides, fungicides, and sanitizers
- Knowledge of common cannabis pests (e.g., spider mites, thrips, PM, root aphids) and treatment strategies
- Comfortable working independently in a greenhouse environment
- Must be able to wear full PPE and work in humid, warm conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain within 60 days preferred)
- Must pass background check as required by state cannabis regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for sprayer handling and chemical mixing
- Comfortable with heights and working on ladders or rolling benches when needed
