
Sr. Software Engineer - EBS

- Execute all tasks throughout the software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation
- Design, develop and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations in Oracle EBS using PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Workflow and APIs.
- Lead or contribute to the planning and execution of Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, and cloud migrations
- Monitor system performance, perform troubleshooting, and ensure application reliability and uptime
- Participate in system architecture decisions and contribute to strategic planning and governance.
- Ensure compliance with security, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensures all programming, design, production control, data validation and quality control standards are met.
- Document technical designs, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures
- Work closely with functional teams and business users to translate business requirements into technical requirements and system specifications.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate Oracle EBS with other enterprise platforms (e.g., middleware, reporting tools, third-party systems).
- Leads, directs, and works with team members to develop, maintain and improve critical internal and external applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in enterprise application engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS (R12 or later) in a technical capacity.
- Proficient in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, and EBS APIs.
- Experience with Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and Procurement.
- Experience with EBS integrations using tools such as Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, or other middleware platforms.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead initiatives, mentor junior team members, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM and/or SCM)
- Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premise architectures.
- Familiarity with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), Autonomous Database, or related cloud technologies.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, Unix Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, FlexDeploy).
