- Build impactful relationships with children, youth and families.
- Engage students, families, and other community agencies to connect families to the program.
- Become a pillar in the school community by building and maintaining relationships with school administration, teachers, families and other stakeholders to ensure program visibility and community support.
- Complete administrative duties to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Design high quality, fun and engaging programing in literacy, STEAM and social emotional learning.
- Create a safe environment for all staff and students though best practices in policies and procedures.
- Grow and Supervise passionate leaders into role models and advocates for the youth in the program.

- Associates' degree with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; or
- Associates' degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; or
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field.
- Walk and stand for the duration for the shift (4 hours during school year, 8 hours during summer).
- Walk at a pace to stay with a group of children during field trips. (Length of walking varies for trip).
- Transition between sitting, standing and kneeling, as needed.
- Lift and carry 25 lbs.
