We pride ourselves on being top of the line regarding cleanliness and safety.What we offer from Day OneMedical, Dental and Vision coverage160 hours of Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays401K matchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramPaid Parental LeaveTuition ReimbursementWhat you'll be doing:Must analyze and repair the following types of systems: Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electrical, ControlHydraulic, MicroprocessorMust setup, startup, operate, troubleshoot, and repair the following production and support equipment:Bulk resin handling systemInternal resin handling systemCompressed air booster pump stationChillersCool water temperature controllersInjection stretch blow molding machinesAutomatic gasket to bottle machinesBottle inspection systemsConveying systems (belt, air, and cable)MACO 8000AB PLC – SLC – Control LogicMust perform preventive maintenance on all equipment in Item 2 above.Must fabricate and repair components as necessary utilizing major maintenanceshop equipment such as Milling machines, Grinders, Lathes, Drill pressesMust document all maintenance repair actions according to plant policies.Must maintain equipment in a manner to comply with clean room operatingrequirements.Must download, change, and monitor operating parameters for all major equipmentthrough direct interface or utilization of cell controller.Must follow equipment manufacturer and plant safety policies.Must perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined bysupervision/managment.Must have knowledge of both plant and department environmental health and safetyRegulations and comply with said regulations accordingly.What you'll bring:High school diploma or equivalent. 2-year vocational technical school is desirable.3 years or more maintenance experience3 years or more plastics processing experience is desirable.Ability to work during plant shutdown and holidays as needed.Ability to work with and without direct supervision.Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland visual acuity procedure CL-01-01-037.Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.Must be able to climb on ladders and catwalks to work on equipment.Audiometric testing and hearing protection requiredAbility to work in unfavorable conditions (hot/cold temperatures)Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 30 poundsAbility to reach above shoulderAbility to bend/stoopAbility to stand for long periods of timeWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $46,400 - $60,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
