The Warehouse Clerk oversees receiving, storing and shipping. He/She is responsible for products stored in the warehouse from entry to departure. All goods are temporarily under his/her responsibility during the time they are in the warehouse.📍 Location: This is a full-time position based out of our Auburn Hills, MI manufacturing site;🚗 5 days on-site. Monday - Friday.IN THIS ROLE TOU WILL...✅ Receive and control goods physically and in the ERP system (Divalto), and store, classify and organize receiving areas;
✅ Confirm accuracy of items received, such as counting merchandise to match work orders;
✅ Ship merchandise and enter data into the ERP system (Divalto);
✅ Successfully interface with third party logistics providers throughout shipment processes;
✅ Prepare, control and count merchandise in the warehouse. Ensure accuracy of orders to be delivered;
✅ Prepare packages for boxing, palletize, etc;✅ Assemble customer orders and perform material movements between different warehouses on a regular basis;
✅ Accurately enter information into the ERP system (Divalto);✅ Maintain inventories and ERP system, and communicate inventory discrepancies;
✅ Count raw material and merchandise inventories. Identify / label raw materials and merchandise;
✅ Operate a forklift on a routine basis;
✅ Prioritize orders, validate stock availability. Prepare orders for warehouse maneuvers via the assigned system;
✅ Process customs transactions for the U.S. market;
✅ Select the optimal carrier based on cost and service according to the different computer platforms. Plan and reserve required carriers. Coordinate pick-up with carriers;
✅ Generate transport documents with the assigned system (bill of lading, packing lists and customs). Track shipments with the various platforms. Find solutions to delivery problems, including customs.ABOUT YOU⚡ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
⚡ Strong command of computer software and applications (ERP systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
⚡ Exceptional organizational skills;
⚡ Strong ability to manage priorities;
⚡ Strong customer service skills.
