Shift: 8 Hours Evening shift.
Description: Qualifications: Must have successfully completed a nationally accredited central service technician exam and certified\nas a Central Service Teclmician OR evidence of employment as a Central Service Technician in a\nhealthcare facility for a period of one 1 year. Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.\nDuties: Responsible for effective and safe decontamination disinfection washing assembly and sterilization of\ninstruments and trays used for procedures in the Operating Room and other clinical areas of Upstate.\nUses principles of aseptic technique performance of quality check with accuracy and reliability. Oversee\nand operate equipment or deaning and disinfecting of surgical equipment. Oversee and participate in\nthe assembly of complex as well as simple surgical sets. Operate equipment for the sterilization of\ncomplex and simple surgical sets using steam under pressure Steris and Sterrad. Record the monitor\nof sterilization and decontamination of equipment. Respond to urgent and emergent requests from\nclinical personnel.
Notes: Sterile Supply Technician\n\nShift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm working one weeknd per month.
W2 Pay Rate: $30.45 *Travel candidates only (50 miles or more from facility)
