- Lead all plant-level financial operations including month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Supervise accounting, payroll, A/R, and A/P functions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain robust internal controls and safeguard company assets.
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, variance reports, and audits.
- Support inventory management and cost accounting processes, ensuring proper valuation and reporting.
- Analyze operational performance, identify financial trends, and support cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements for financial and payroll reporting.
- Serve as a liaison between the plant and corporate finance, providing timely and relevant data to senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team; promote continuous improvement in financial processes.
- Contribute to special projects and capital expenditure analysis as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership in managing plant-level financials and direct reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel and ERP system skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating cross-functionally.
- Effective under pressure and capable of managing multiple priorities.
