DESCRIPTIONProject Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.In this role you will be a key member of the team creating enterprise applications needed to design, build, and operate the organization's business services. You will own and operate ERP systems critical to Project Kuiper. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, strong knowledge of SAP functional and technical modules, organizational and time management skills and has a successful track record of delivering large-scale engineering projects. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.Key job responsibilities
- Lead and create business requirements and accurately translate them into functionality
- Functionally architect SAP modules that support both commercial and Government requirements
- Clearly articulate benefits in business language
- Integrate SAP systems with corporate applications and other related Kuiper systems while ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protection
- Engage business sponsors and contribute to their targeted business outcomes
- Identify solution gaps and develop gap closure options
- Present complex information to stakeholders and teams in a clear and appealing manner
- Manage ambiguity and create accurate project effort estimates and articulate risks throughout the lifecycle.
- Recognize implications of business strategy changes
- Provide functional leadership and mentorship to SAP development and support teams
- Oversee customization and configuration of SAP applications to meet business needs

- 5+ years of experience as SAP functional architect
- 6+ years of SAP experience with Delivery of an end-to-end design and implementation as the main focus
- 3+ years experience in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline
- In-depth functional knowledge in Project System, Finance, and Procurement modules
- Experience with SAP manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Management
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA with RISE
- Comprehensive understanding of custom development approach and integration strategy from both a technical and functional perspective
- Experience with SAP security best practices that ensure SAP systems comply with industry regulations and standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to compliance regulations like FAR, ITAR and Export Compliance is a plus
