- Must be able to demonstrate effective instruction.
- Have a broad range of experience, including working with seniors and athletes.
- Must be able to create comprehensive training programs built around clients' individual needs and goals.
- Will maintain logs of class attendance for classes taught.
- Possess a strong awareness of anatomy and biomechanics.
- Must teach classes in a fun safe and challenging manner. Classes must be designed to provide an effective exercise program in an entertaining manner.
- Must Inspect the studio to insure lighting, temperature, sound system and equipment are all in top working condition. Reports problems and takes appropriate action.
- Must offer Tai Chi/Qigong classes in a variety of settings as space and opportunities become available.
- Have a desire to build a successful business in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Must develop Tai Chi/Qigong class protocol or syllabus defining appropriate techniques and sequencing, including physical postures, breath, and meditation practices appropriate for the purpose of the class and the abilities of individual participants.
- Free Complimentary Gym Fitness Membership
- Experience teaching group fitness sessions preferred.
- Experience working with participants with different ages, skill levels, and varying physical and emotional abilities highly preferred..
- Possess a current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
- Posesses a current Adult/child/infant CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
