If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job Title Technical WriterWhat does a Professional Technical Writer do at Fiserv?As a Technical Writer for Fiserv’s debit networks, you will translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content that helps clients understand how to implement and use Fiserv’s debit network services. You bring excellent writing and verbal communication skills, experience writing business documentation, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.What you will do:
  • Create user guides, release notes, quick references, and other assigned content.
  • Update Network Operating Rules and technical specifications
  • Create product bulletins to clearly and accurately communicate network enhancements and mandates
  • Analyze and translate technical designs into user-friendly client material.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to obtain an in-depth understanding of products and documentation needs.
  • Use test environments to research Fiserv products and services and obtain screen samples for documentation.
  • Ensure technical accuracy, readability, and consistency across the documentation set through reviews.
  • Estimate, track, and prioritize projects assigned; meet deadlines established by the team.
  • Manage communication/documentation roadmap
  • Host internal and external webinars to review changes, mandates, or enhancements being communicated
What you will need to have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or writing or equivalent work experience in these fields or a combination of education, career or military experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant technical writing experience.
  • Proficient in writing content in U.S. English.
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Style Guide and department writing standards.
  • Experience with appropriate software and systems to create and publish content including Framemaker, Zoomin, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel
What would be great to have:
  • Experience writing user interface text and application screen content.
  • Experience leading project teams and content transformation.
  • Experience with AI tools.
  • Knowledge of debit payment networks
