Position SummaryTo provide direct services as a part of a multidisciplinary team the Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) will provide direct care including individual and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans and discharge planning.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient Contact:Participates in direct care to assess needs and coordinate services to appropriate populationProvides initial mental health assessments resulting in measurement based care planningAssesses using standardized screening tools, measures, etcProvides brief, solution focused therapyProvide group psychoeducation/treatment related to specific diagnoses/presenting issuesProvide information and referral servicesParticipate in care coordinationMaintains daily/weekly scheduled appointments in electronic records systemsProvide therapeutic services to patients and their familiesWork in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partners and agenciesCompletes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely mannerParticipate in our high risk programDemonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients including LGBTQ+ communityMaintain case load dependent on needProvide supervision and clinical oversight to master’s level students/internsProvides mentoring and training to newly hired staff as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
  • Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut
  • Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience providing direct clinical care is desirableAdditional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.Experience/knowledge of substance use disordersExperience/competency in working with LGBTQ+Comprehensive Benefits Offered
