- Warmly greet customers upon arrival in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain order and efficiency in lobby area.
- Facilitate communication between patients and back-end pharmacy staff.
- Provide direction and assistance for patients in need of Callen Lorde health services beyond the pharmacy.
- Work with patients to improve understanding of pharmacy communication systems (i.e. pharmacy app and text notifications).
- Assist with maintaining over-the-counter inventory.
- Offer a warm “thank you for your business” to exiting customers.
- Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
- Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
- Remain free from exclusion under the Office of the Inspector General and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
- Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- A commitment to treating all patients with empathy and compassion
- Ability to be standing for extended periods of time
- Basic technical and organization skills
- High customer service orientation, exhibiting a welcoming disposition with the ability to be consistently polite, helpful, kind, courteous and discreet.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a plus
