Position: Contract Administrator / ParalegalOffice Location: San Antonio, TexasPosition Type: Full-TimeReports to: Craig Comeaux, Chief Commercial OfficerAbout the RoleAs a Contract Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization by managing and organizing a growing portfolio of contracts with our ranching partners. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can take ownership of administrative processes and improve efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency across all contracts, collaborating with the sales team and ranching partners to close transactions, and implementing technology solutions to streamline contract administration. This position requires someone who can thrive in a dynamic environment and is eager to take initiative to improve processes.Required Experience and EducationExperience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of paralegal experience.
  • Corporate or real estate paralegal experience preferred.
  • Ability to close transactions and manage the administrative aspects of a contracts portfolio.
  • Familiarity with legal entity types and structures.
  • Responsibility for making multistate property records filings.
  • Licensed Notary preferred.
  • CRM experience is preferred, with Salesforce being a plus.
  • Proficiency in a Google Office environment.
Education
  • A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred, with a focus on a relevant field.
Key ResponsibilitiesContracts Management
  • Organize and maintain a portfolio of contracts, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Assess and implement technology solutions to enhance contract administration processes.
  • Manage all administrative aspects of the contracts portfolio from inception to completion.
Transaction Support
  • Identify proper legal parties and finalize contracts for execution
  • Collaborate directly with the sales team and ranching partners to close transactions.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient contracting process.
Legal & Administrative Support
  • Administer multistate property records filings.
  • Coordinate online notarization of legal documents
  • Organizing contract portfolio files for consistency and maintaining legal records.
