Mechanical Field Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex machinery at customer sites. This role requires 95% travel across North America, with assignments lasting up to two weeks at a time, including occasional international travel for training and support.Responsibilities:
  • Install, align, and assemble new machinery, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Lead rigging teams during installation and oversee project completion.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues on existing equipment.
  • Train operators and maintenance staff on best practices for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, system audits, and technical service on industrial machinery.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years in a mechanical service, maintenance, or field engineering role.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams.
  • Experience with equipment installation, alignment, and disassembly using technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in fabricating parts and checking components for accuracy, tolerances, and alignment.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as basic electrical wiring and schematics.
  • Willingness to travel 95% of the time across the U.S. and Canada, with trips lasting up to two weeks.
