POSITION: Building Engineering WorkerDEPARTMENT: OperationsREPORTS TO: Engineering ManagerFLSA STATUS: Part-Time Hourly, Non-ExemptSummaryASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening Building Engineering Worker for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Building Engineering Worker works with the Engineering Manager to ensure all building equipment is in proper working order, and assists the Operations department with other assigned tasks.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist in ensuring proper operation of all building equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance including but not limited to: HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing systems, minor electrical, exhaust fans/motors, lighting systems, etc.
  • Minor repairs of kitchen and food service equipment
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance of building systems
  • Ability to learn and manage building automation system
  • Minor vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Research of supplies/parts and materials and inventory control of stock items
  • Upkeep and maintenance of building equipment with coordination of Engineering Manager.
  • Assist and facilitate maintenance of wall and surface finishes to include drywall and masonry / painted and applied finishes
  • Interpret company policies and safety regulations according to MSDS/OSHA safety
  • Assist with ongoing event needs
  • Assist other departments/operations with related tasks as needed.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience required
Skills and Abilities
  • Must have strong organization & communications skills, ability to prioritize & multitask, and be self-motivated.
  • Position requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climbing carrying, stooping, crawling, and equipment operation. This position requires work both indoors and out and is subject to adverse conditions.
  • Must be able to work day and night hours as dictated by event/work schedules
Physical Demands
  • Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
  • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
  • This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events
