- Competent use of hand, bench and light machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding and polishing on machined parts.
- Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers.
- Understand tolerances for parts.
- Ability to understand why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output.
- Accuracy with alignment, dimensional and general inspection requirements. Perform spot inspections of parts.
- Interpretation of work orders, blueprints and bills of material. Complete and maintain paperwork.
- Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel)
- Operate small forklift, pallet jacks, hoist, etc. to lift and transport materials exceeding 50 pounds
- Performance of cycle counts as prescribed by Production and Inventory Control.
- Full understanding of housekeeping expectations
- Interpretation of work orders, blueprints, and bills of material.
- This position consist of but is not limited to; Produces parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC). Must be proficient in all press brake machines on site. Document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations. Ability to calculate, blank sizes, bend locations, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed. Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within capabilities. Reports all machine malfunctions to Management. Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Ability to read blueprints.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
