Department WebsiteBrief Job DescriptionThe department is accepting applications to fill current and future part-time, temporary teaching positions in all areas associated with Teaching English as a Second Language (methods, assessment, content-area ESL instruction, foundations, second language acquisition, and student-teacher supervision).This is a pool posting and applications are accepted on an on-going basis.
Required QualificationsMaster's degree in applied linguistics, TESOL, foreign language education, bilingual education or a closely related field.Official transcripts will be required upon hire.
Preferred QualificationsTerminal degree in applied linguistics, TESOL, foreign language education, bilingual education or a closely related field.State certification in ESOL education at the secondary and/or elementary levels
