Cable Technician (Contract Role: 3–6 Months)

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cable systems, including broadband, video, and voice communications.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best installation routes and methods.
- Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address customer concerns.
- Document all work performed, including customer interactions, equipment used, and any issues encountered.
- Respond to service calls and provide timely resolution to cable-related problems.
- Ensure proper handling and installation of cable and associated hardware.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in telecommunications or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cable Technician or similar role in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of cable installation practices, fiber optics, and networking equipment.
- Familiarity with cable testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
