Position Title: Sr. Product Test EngineerPosition Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for an experienced Sr. Product Test Engineer to join our client's team in Kent, WA.Job Description:
  • As a Sr. Product Test Engineer, you will be the owner of the product testing process and lead the entire testing process for complex hardware and software products.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning & Execution: Developing comprehensive test plans based on product specifications, setting up test systems in a lab, and executing tests to check for boundary and stress conditions.
  • Issue Management: Writing detailed reports when issues are discovered and validating that all fixed issues have been resolved.
  • System Integration: Testing products that are integrated into large, complex systems.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Providing technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers and assisting other departments to keep projects on track.
Job Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or Engineering is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of total industry experience. A Master's or PhD in Engineering/CS can be applied toward this experience.
  • Must Have: Demonstrated electrical engineering test experience.
  • Must Have: Strong verbal and written communication skills and a logical, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Good working knowledge of Ethernet networking and security.
  • Experience testing complex embedded electronics (experience with aircraft systems is a plus).
Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • An EE degree is ideal.
  • Experience with issue and project tracking systems like Jira.
  • Experience testing software applications and embedded systems (Windows, Linux, Android, iOS).
  • Proficiency with electronics tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Skills in programming, electrical engineering, and soldering.

  • Salary Range: $86,430-$129,645.
  • An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
