Operate a machine that is a part of the development and manufacturing of advanced steel wire used primarily for automotive industryRequirements:
  • Identify and pull coils from staging area
  • Set -up dies and string machine according to schedule
  • Load coils onto the rockets
  • Operate the pointing machine
  • Operate the Shaving machine
  • Input data in the computer - Pick, Pass, Split coils
  • Dispose of scrap wire generated while shaving
  • Perform periodic preventive maintenance
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 50+lbs. throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel.
  • Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
