In this role, you will take charge of overseeing subcontractors and installers, ensuring the seamless coordination and efficient execution of projects. Your expertise in reading blueprints, strategic scheduling, and managing material delivery will be crucial. As a Field Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining project timelines with an unwavering commitment to quality standards. The Field Manager position requires precision, effective communication, and the ability to adapt schedules to evolving project dynamics.Job Type: Full Time, On-siteField Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee on-site execution for multiple active multi-family projects.
- Collaborate with Project Coordinators for timely submission of submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Conduct physical takeoffs of project sites, ensuring timely material procurement with the purchasing team.
- Work closely with sub-contractors and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely project completion.
- Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Vet and manage additional material requests, ensuring efficient product control in the field.
- Act as the primary contact for builders and contractors, maintaining strong communication and addressing concerns promptly.Field Manager Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in project/field management of multi-family projects within the Construction and Building Materials industry.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and coordinate with diverse on-site teams.
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and commitment to quality standards.
- Proven track record of adhering to project timelines and delivering successful projects.
