The Leader, Real Estate Finance is an individual contributor to the FP&A team and a critical partner to RH's Gallery Development team. The right individual will drive strategic decisions through modeling, analysis and reporting and become a trusted business partner to the broader Gallery Development team. The Leader, Real Estate Finance will interact regularly with executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Director of Finance, FP&A
  • Provide financial analysis and analytical support for RH's Gallery Development Team
  • Partner with senior Gallery Development leadership to evaluate potential real estate opportunities including forecasting new Gallery sales, productivity and build out costs
  • Assist with accurate, timely and insightful Capex reporting for senior leadership by partnering with leaders across the business
  • Serve as the key liaison between business operations and the accounting team, providing meaningful reporting and analysis from large data sets
  • Forecast and provide variance reporting on a monthly basis across different areas of the P&L, focusing on fixed and variable occupancy costs
  • Partner with accounting team to ensure entries are booked timely and accurately
  • Develop detailed reports for Board meetings and quarterly earnings releases
  • Support the broader FP&A organization as a utility player with the ability to take-on ad hoc projects
Qualifications and Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, real estate, accounting, investment banking, private equity or related field
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Expert capabilities in Excel. Familiarity with VBA, a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies
  • Familiar with real estate and lease accounting
  • Must be detail-oriented, curious and keen to dig into numbers and variances to propose recommendations and drive improved results
  • Demonstrated track record of building relationships and collaborating with and influencing teams across an organization
  • Knowledge of Essbase / Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud and Oracle Financials, a plus
  • BA/BS degree. Major in finance, economics, real estate, accounting and/or related field, or an MBA, a plus
