Project CoordinatorWe are actively looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our growing team, at a building material supplier that manufactures and distributes a wide variety of building products to both single- and multi-family homebuilders, developers, and contractors.The Project Coordinator will be responsible for actively managing multiple multi-family projects at the time while proofing submittals, generating change orders, conducting physical takeoffs, and collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of necessary products. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will oversee order entries for your projects and manage the accountability of field managers while also working closely with various in-house departments, as well as customers and vendors.Job Type: Full Time, On-siteResponsibilities for the Project Coordinator:
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
  • Manage and control costs while maintaining the highest level of product quality
  • Oversee and manage field managers, ensuring timely submission of verifications and data, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Post bid addendums, proposal requests, RFI’s, ASI’s, etc.
  • Using experience and knowledge as they relate to building codes, life safety, and accessibility
  • Documenting all aspects of any given project through contracts, change orders, sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of correspondence.
  • Managing several multi-family projects daily
  • Working with suppliers and vendors for product information, lead-times, and shipping details
  • Direct communication with customers via phone, email, or jobsite visits
  • Determining and adequately meeting project schedules & deadlines
Requirements of the Project Coordinator:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as Project Coordinator or Project Manager in related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields preferred
  • Knowledgeable in New Construction processes and what Building Materials is required
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
