Maintenance TechnicianThis exciting role will be responsible for preventative maintenance around the facility and for the process equipment as well as completing projects related to maintenance and engineering requests. A solid understanding of preventative maintenance within a manufacturing environment will be needed to be successful in this role. They are headquartered in the Burlington, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV Modules for the renewable energy industry. If you are an individual who loves to be hands on and troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance, this role could be for you!Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative/predictive maintenance to production and facility equipment as required.
  • Complete small electrical or mechanical projects as directed by Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • Diagnose basic electrical systems, mechanical components, pneumatic components, and controls to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustments, repairs, or programming.
  • Repair and replace electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and electronic components such as motors, contractors, relays, timers, types of switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls, and valves as directed by Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • Support the maintaining of the electrical spare parts inventory levels.
  • Maintain and perform repairs on equipment to restore it to safe and ideal working conditions.
  • Adhere to work orders and utilize CMMS system for data entry.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.
  • Must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs.
Qualifications:
  • 2-6+ years of preventative maintenance experience is required.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and ladder/function block logic.
  • Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.) and electric circuitry consisting of contactors, relays, main voltage/control voltage, limit switches and proximity sensors
  • Knowledge of equipment set up, functions, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot on electrical and mechanical equipment, PLC systems, Robots, AC & DC drives, servo drives, motion controls, safety sensors, and relays.
  • Basic knowledge of single and 3-phase electrical systems is preferred.
  • Works well with a team and has mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance procedures is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Forklift or scissor lift certification or experience is preferred.
Salary Range:
  • $60,000-79,000+ depending on experience.
Weekly Schedule Options:
  • PITMAN DAY SHIFT: 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM with rotating schedule 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, etc.
  • PITMAN NIGHT SHIFT (additional $1.50/hr): 6:00 PM- 6:00 AM with rotating schedule 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, etc.
