  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience building tools that improve development velocity, code quality, or code health.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience managing or deploying kubernetes.
  • Experience with Bazel, Cloud Build, Gerrit, and Git.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Provide technical leadership and define the long-term goal for a research and development platform.
Mentor and coach other engineers, helping them grow their skills and careers.Collaborate across reporting chains and roles to understand user needs and translate them into a clear technical roadmap. * Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions for quantum computing, with a focus on improving development velocity.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
