Provide strategic leadership and 24/7 oversight for cardiac stepdown operations
Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practices and the Synergy Model
Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain patient safety standards
Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Ensure compliance with TJC Patient Safety Goals and infection prevention protocols
Monitor and improve key performance metrics including patient, employee, and physician satisfaction
Implement innovative care delivery models focused on patient-centered outcomes
Required Qualifications:
BSN required; MSN or related Master's degree preferred
Current Texas State RN license or compact license
Minimum 2 years recent acute care critical care leadership experience
Progressive leadership experience highly valued
BLS/ACLS certification
National Specialty Certification (or obtainable within first year)
Experience in Magnet or Pathways facilities preferred
