CT Technologist -Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Radiologist, this role involves performing all computerized tomography scans on various portions of the body to assist the medical staff in detecting abnormalities. The position also entails duties and functions as a Radiology Technologist as assigned. This role requires providing care and service to a critically through sub-acutely ill pediatric through geriatric patient population, demonstrating an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individuals served.Responsibilities
  • Conduct computerized tomography scans to aid in the detection of abnormalities.
  • Perform duties as assigned in the capacity of a Radiology Technologist.
  • Provide care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Participate actively in fulfilling the mission of the medical center.
Essential Skills
  • PACS proficiency
  • Current BCLS-C certification
  • ARRT certification (R and CT) required
  • One year of CT experience preferred
  • State of Florida HRS General license
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate from an approved School of Radiology
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • For FSED roles: Must have at least 1 year of experience as a CT Tech and acute care experience

The work schedule varies by location, with shifts including Thursday to Saturday or Friday to Sunday, both day and night shifts. There is a sign-on bonus of $20k, and relocation is considered on a case-by-case basis.
