Our desire is to see individuals reach their full potential, and create lasting change that will stand the test of time.This job will expire after 10 days.JOB SUMMARYThe Monitor I reports to the Program Director and is responsible for the supervision, managing and monitoring of federal residents in Federal Bureau of Prisons Residential Reentry Center.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide supervision and monitoring of FBOP (Federal Bureau of Prisons) residents.
  • Monitor and ensure that residents comply with RRC (Residential Reentry Center) regulations, schedules and work assignments.
  • Make written notes/reports to document federal resident behavior, as per FBOP contract requirements.
  • Complete multiple security checks throughout shifts including walking the perimeter, monitoring the grounds, documenting rounds, counts, and inspections on appropriate forms.
  • Quickly respond to incoming telephone calls and visitors or residents at the door/gate.
  • Report and appropriately document resident behavioral incidents and/or violations of FBOP or RRC rules.
  • Perform some filing and other general office duties.
  • Perform urine specimen collection for same gender and process specimens and documents in accordance with stated and approved procedures.
  • Conduct random or scheduled room, and vehicle searches.
  • Perform routine pat down searches of residents.
  • Thinks and acts quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  • Will drive on Agency business.
  • Physical presence at the program is required.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years monitor experience.
  • Current certified training in emergency first aid, preferred.
  • Legibly, accurately and appropriately document communications, behaviors and facility events as they occur.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, general physical, and TB test.
