As a Special Education Teacher, you will:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to provide inclusive learning experiences.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students varying needs and abilities.
- Use data-driven assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student growth and development.
- Provide direct support to students with disabilities to ensure they reach their academic goals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
