With guidance from supervisors, this individual will monitor, analyze, and report on financial data.Title will be commensurate with experience.Essential Functions
  • Monitor and interpret financial data in the development of cost analysis and reports.
  • Prepare financial/statistical analysis reports.
  • Perform budget analysis and assist in the development of budgetary forecasts.
  • Prepare and assist in budget-related statistical analysis, estimates and financial reports.
  • Assist in the development and input of financial transactions into university systems.
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies on new programs by using financial modeling systems and statistical programs.
  • Understand university financial policies and be able to apply those policies to financial transactions, and/or provide guidance to those who seek to apply those policies.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Minimum RequirementsFinancial Analyst 1:Required Education
Bachelor's Degree must be in accounting or related field.
Required Experience
Related finance or accounting experience.-OR-Financial Analyst 2:Required Education
Bachelor's Degree must be in accounting or related field.
Required Experience
Two (2) years of related accounting experience.Additional Qualifications ConsideredExperience in accounting, finance, or analytics is ideal.Physical Requirements/Work Environment
