This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand image and establishing strong relationships with media professionals and the public. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to ensure our message resonates with our target audience.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Prepare and distribute press releases and other communication materials.
- Manage media relations by responding to inquiries and building relationships with journalists.
- Organize and coordinate press events, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Monitor media coverage and online conversations related to the organization.
- Assist in developing content for social media channels to enhance public engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a similar role, ideally 2-3 years.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and PR tools for outreach and analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with stakeholders effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or front office role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
